Toshiba has announced that the companies latest Satellite A205 series of laptops will come equipped with the IEEE 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity.
The series will include three models named S4577, S4617, and S4639. All the three models come with a 15.4-inch LCD display and a 1280 X 800 resolution.
The S4577 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Intel GMA 950 graphics. This cool looking system comes with a DVD SuperMulti burner and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g. This system runs on Windows Vista Home Premium.
Talking about the S4617, it is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD and Intel GMA 950 graphics. On the accessories side this system comes bundled with a DVD SuperMulti burner, built-in Harman Kardon stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/n, embedded webcam and a fingerprint reader. This also runs on Windows Vista Home Premium.
The last of the series the S4639 can be considered the best among the lot. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce Go7300 graphics with 128MB memory. On the accessories side it also has a DVD SuperMulti burner, built-in Harman Kardon stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/n, embedded webcam and a fingerprint reader. It runs on Windows Vista Ultimate.
The company has not made any comments on the price and the availability of this series but according to me it should soon be hitting shelves.
