Toshiba is expected to launch a new model in its Qosmio notebook series. The new Qosmio G40 comes in a black and white finish with some good spec bumps. Other than the usual 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor, the lappy will be equipped with speedier 512MB GeForce Go 8600 GT video for improved 3D performance, an HDMI 1.3 output, notably a HD DVD-R drive, 200GB hard disks for storage, and 2GB RAM. Pricing hasn’t been made public officially but the G40 is anticipated to hit European shelves in June for $4,024 while it might go for $2999 in the States. Via: Electronista
