There are several hardware modifications, as well, that propped up the change of the title, such as earlier a crank handle was used to charge the machine that later was replaced by the XO module with a string. With Quanta as the official manufacturer for the OLPC project, it would certainly be interesting to see OLPC XO units in progress.
