Call it a star studded effort by the MSI Taiwan who is presenting their M677 laptop with a bit jazzed up configuration and 120 pieces of Austrian crystal embedded in MSI logo. Although there is no info on the price and availability front but the configurations were revealed as following: The M677 will come with 15.7-inch widescreen display and an AMD Turion 64X2 processor. A 2 GB DDR2 RAM has been combined with 5400rpm HDD whose capacity the company declined to comment. The laptop has NIVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics card and also has 1.3-megapixel integrated webcam. My guess is look out for this laptop on online sites as they will definitely try to cash in the holiday season.
M677
Uber-rich only please! If the 120 pieces of Austrian crystals embedded to the MSI’s M677 laptop’s lid seem less to you, MSI has added many more this time. Company has now blinged the lappy both from exteriors and interiors too. You will find Swarovski crystals on the touchpad too. The shimmering M677 packs an AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, up to 2GB of memory, 5400rpm hard drive and a DVD burner. The MSI crystal collection laptops come in 15.4″ AMD and 13.3″ Intel displays. Now, you will ask the price. I simply have no idea. But, it will certainly pick on your pockets.
Micro Star International (MSI) has taken the wraps off its new notebook dubbed the M673 that will be no doubt cheaper than the jewel encrusted M677 laptop. The salient specs of the machine include a 15.4″ WXGA screen, AMD Mobile Processor Turion64x2 TL-50, 52, 56, 60 or AMD Mobile Sempron 3200+, 3400+, 3500+ processor, nVidia GeForce 6100 chipset, two SO-DIMM Sockets for expansion up to 2 GB DDR2, NVidia Geforce Go 7400 256MB Turbo Cache graphics, Bluetooth sport, and IEEE802.11 b+g. The laptop comes with integrated Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium featuring the graphical Aero Interface. Anyway, no words on pricing at the moment.
