The year 2006 was all about the exploding laptops for the industry but with the very start of the New Year, the good folks at Samsung have come up with a new technique of powering your laptop. Well, you might be thinking of some alternative sources such as solar power and the wind farms but it’s not like that. Samsung is touting its new proposal of a laptop power expansion dock running on conventional Methanol. While this fuel is usually used to run 750 horsepower F1-style racers, Samsung has tested the fuel on one of its machines, the Samsung Q35 that was able to run for five weeks with the daily usage of eight hours. If everything goes as per plans, Samsung will start the manufacturing of the powerful Methanol based add-ons by the end of this year. Hope they have not ignored the odds of fire catching!
