It’s the time to welcome the new Sony VAIO G1 laptop that weighs a mere 1.98lbs/ 898 grams. There hasn’t been any official announcement for the same but the new lightweight 12.1-inches lappy is available for sale at a price of $1899 at Dynamism.com.
If you will go for an optional built-in DVD drive, the whole weight will total to 2.17 lbs. Let’s talk about its technical specs. The VAIO G1 integrates a 12.1′ 1024×768 display, Intel Celeron or Core Solo ultra-low voltage (ULV) U1300 clocked at 1.06GHz or U1400 clocked at 1.2GHz processor, built-in Intel 945GMS Express graphics, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, up to 80GB drive, and up to 1.5GB of memory. Other features include LAN, 56k modem, two USB ports, VGA-out, PCMCIA slot and a fingerprint reader.
