At a meager weight of 898 grams, Sony will start shipping the world’s lightest notebook, the ‘Vaio G‘ in the month of December. At such a light weight, Sony has managed to bless the machine with a 12.1 inch screen with a 1024×768 display, Intel 945GMS Express graphics, 80GB odisk, 1.5GB memory, fingerprint reader, 802.11a/b/g Wifi, and Bluetooth. Well, you don’t have the Merom processor here; you can opt for either a Celeron or Core Solo 1.06GHz U1300 or 1.2GHz U1400 processor. The type ‘G’ lappy will sell for around $1,836. Hats off to Sony!
