As the Microsoft Vista release date draws nearer many companies have launched or are in the process of launching Vista enabled laptops.

Sharp has also released their new range of laptops that are Vista capable.
The new range is in Mebius line and will see PC-WT70S, PC-CH40S, PC-WE50S and PC-WE40S laptops.

PC-WT70S:

This will be a 15.4-incher wide display laptop with 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution. It will be powered by AMD Turion 64 X 2 1.60GHz dual core CPU and will have 100 GB of HDD with 1GB worth of RAM.

With this you will find a Dual-layer DVD burner , USB 2.0 ports(4), FireWire, PCMICA and memory card reader. For connectivity there are options of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Ethernet. It also has VGA out and audio in-out ports with battery life of 1.2 hours. This will be priced at $1,411.

PC-CH40S:

It will have 14.1-inch XGA display with 1024 x 768 resolution coupled with 80 GB HDD. It will have Sempron 3200+ CPU and 512MB RAM with battery life of 2.5 hours. PC-CH40S is priced at $1,245.


PC-WE50S and PC-WE40S:

These will have AMD ULV Sempron3200+ processor with 512MB RAM and an 80 GB of storage capacity. Both these laptops will be priced at $1,245.

All the laptop will have ATI Radeion Xpress graphics card powering graphics.
