It hasn’t been a long time when we were talking about the Panasonic Toughbooks, CF-29 and CF-74. Now, Panasonic has rolled out three new rugged business notebooks to itt Toughbook series-the CF-W5, CF-T5 and CF-Y5 boasting magnesium alloy chassis with the CF-Y5 with a spill-through keyboard.
The 3.5 pounds Panasonic Toughbook CF-Y5 features a 14.1-inch display, Bluetooth, DVD/CD-RW drive and is power-driven by 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo ultra-low voltage (ULV) processor L2400. Coming in December for a price of $2199.
The 1.8′ thick and 3.1 pounds Panasonic Panasonic Toughbook CF-W5 boasts a 12.1′ screen, 60GB HDD, Core Solo processor and 8 hours battery life. It’s optical drive ejects upwards. Priced at $1899.
Finally, the 12′ Panasonic Toughbook CF-T5 will come equipped with a touvh sensitive screen, an ULV processor and 10 hours of battery life. But, it lacks the built-in optical drive. Priced at $1899.
