Looks like Panasonic is doing pretty good with its Toughbook series. A few days have passed after the announcement of Panasonic Toughbook CF-29, Panasonic is now back into the scene with its newest Toughbook CF-74. The semi-rugged Toughbook CF-74 is brawny enough for those tough fellows who want their machines to withstand rough treatment and harsh environments.
The key features include 13.3′ screen, 1.7-pound AC adapter, 1.83-GHz Intel Core Duo processor, Memory options from 512MB to 4GB and an impressive battery life of 5.5 hours. Standard equipment includes an 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi adapter and a WAN adapter that could access the Verizon’s swift EV-DO network.
As expected, it’s going to pick on your pocket as the tough device is priced at $2999 with a three-year warranty. Personally, I find it a great idea to replace less durable notebooks with the rough and tough Panasonic CF-74.
