The card is available with Cingular at the payment of $49.99 with two years unlimited DataConnect contract.

If you go out of the country with this, how does it work? Do you have to buy airtime from a local carrier? Do you upgrade your plan at home before you leave?

with unlimited dataConnect plan of the Cingular where ever you go the card will automatically pick the UMTS/EDGE/HSDPA which ever may be available in that country. They will allow you access in the same way as they allow access to mobiles when on international roaming.
