By the end of this year or in 2008, we would have notebooks featuring widescreen 3D LCD panels. The biggest downside with such displays is that they consume a lot of power and reduce the brightness too. But, it would surely get a warm welcome from the gaming community. US-based notebook vendors are showing keen interest in such 3D displays. Samsung Korea has revealed that the 3D display market will surpass US$2 billion in 2010. iZ3D has already launched such 3D LCD monitor models in the market.
