The laptops power-driven by the recently announced Intel Core 2 Duo (aka the Merom) processors will integrate the Nvidia SLI dual-graphics technology. Intel’s 945 series laptop chipsets would be the first to bear the Nvidia SLI technology. Digitimes reports that the official announcement for this merger of Merom processor featured laptops and Nvidia SLI will be made very soon.



The sources pointed out that Dan Vivoli, executive vice president of Nvidia, attended Intel’s recent launch of Core 2 Duo processors in Silicon Valley, considering this as a sign of possible cooperation between Intel and Nvidia, Digitimes reported.
