I hope you memorize that the Lenovo, a few days back announced the SUSE
Linux support for its Thinkpad T60 laptops. Now, Lenovo, in a joint venture with Cingular Wireless, has unveiled the WWAN-integrated ThinkPad T60 notebook in the US that will boast built-in Cingular UMTS/HSDPA-based technology.
The technical specs include 14.1-inch SXGA+ display, 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, 80GB hard drive, 64MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 graphics, 802.11a/b/g, and a DVD burner.
The 4.8 lbs ThinkPad T60’s sleek and light forma factor makes it highly handy. This time the durability is sturdy, thanks to the airbag-like Active Protection System and ThinkPad shock-mounted hard drive. The built-in ThinkVantage Technology could simply adjust wireless capabilities by switching off and on the exact connections.
The Cingular’s famed BroadbandConnect service covers more than 70 markets in US. The Lenovo Thinkpad T60 is priced at an attractive price of $1,899.
