It’s the party time for the global laptop manufacturers as Lenovo has joined the battery recall team. Five big leaders in the laptop dome including Dell, Apple, Toshiba, Panasonic and Lenovo have gone for a battery recall with Dell leading the team in terms of count.
Well, the recall must be a result of the burnt Lenovo Thinkpad T43. Anyway, the recall is meant for nearly 170,000 batteries in the US, and over 350,000 additionally worldwide as announced by US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The notebooks that might come under the recall category are ThinkPad R Series (R51e, R52, R60, and R60e), ThinkPad T Series (T43, T43p, and T60) and ThinkPad X Series (X60, X60s). You can get more details at Battery recall FAQs.
