Good to hear that HP will officially roll out laptops with LED LCDs in the Q3 this year. The two laptops that are confirmed to receive the LED-backlit displays are the HP Compaq 2510p and 2710 tablet.
While the Compaq 2510p touts a 12.1-inch screen, option of Windows Vista or Windows XP, and Intel’s Centrino Pro processor, no details have been leaked for touchscreen 2710 tablet PC.
Both the laptops with light-emitting diode displays are scheduled to debut in the third quarter of 2007. The pictured above is not any of the two.
