There is a buzz about the Core 2 Duo processors in the laptop arena. Intel has already announced that its Core 2 Duo will be coming in the month of August. Asus revealed that its whole laptop line is Core 2 Duo ( aka Merom) ready. Fujitsu has also joined the trend by announcing that its 17′ Fujitsu LifeBook N6400 Series desktop replacement laptop would be one of the first notebook to integrate Intel Core 2 Duo and hit the stores by the end of August.
Paul Moore, senior director of mobile product marketing, Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation said:
Performance, battery life and reliability are among the top three requirements for mobile computer users. The Fujitsu line of notebooks is renowned for reliability, and the unprecedented power and energy efficiency of the new Intel Core 2 Duo Processor provides us with the opportunity to improve both performance and battery life, which will make Fujitsu notebooks the clear choice for today’s mobile lifestyle.
