Earlier when Fujitsu joined the battery recall squad, it didn’t reveal the exact number of the battery recall. Now, the news is public that Fujitsu has recalled 287,000 Sony-manufactured notebook batteries. Though the Apple and Dell top the list in recall, others like Fujitsu, Panasonic and Lenovo make the total number of recall up to soaring 7.5 million. Well, the news of relief for Fujitsu is that there is no incident of overheating or explosion reported till today. Looks like Fujitsu is giving weight to the statement ‘Prevention is better than cure’.
