The Merom laptops available at the moment are Dell XPS M2010, XPS M1710 and XPS M1210 that are priced at $3500, $2300 and $1200 respectively. Inspiron E1705 will be the cheapest in the list for a price of $1124 only. Intel Core 2 Duo powered Dell Precision M90 and Dell Precision M65 will retail for a price of $2,239 and $1,849 respectively.
If one of the Dell Inspiron E1505, E1405, Dell Latitude D820, D620, or D520 is your choice then you need to wait for few more days. It seems Dell has forgotten about the battery recall and concentrating on the latest trend. I like the spirit.
