
Though it is not confirmed wholly, Apple has silently added the draft 802.11n-compatible wireless card into its lately announced Core 2 Duo MacBooks. Think Secret has revealed that the wireless chipset put into use is the Atheros AR5008E, the very same chipset stuffed in the Apple’s Core 2 Duo MacBook Pros. While Apple integrated the 802.11n compliant chipsets first of all in the Core 2 Duo iMac but that was a Broadcom chipset. The exact speed of the MacBooks will be taken in only after Apple comes up with some Mac OS X drivers.
