Alienware have unveiled their latest offering in the laptop arena with ‘The Area-51 m5790′.
Although the system is coming with pre-loaded Windows XP but you will get a 50 per cent discount for Vista upgrades when it arrives in the end of January. This has got a 17-inch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution.
With Core 2 duo under its hood it has an ATI Mobility Radeon X1900 with 256 MB memory for graphics instead of earlier reports of SLI NIVIDIA graphic card. It incorporates a Blu-ray optical drive with max of 200GB dual HDD and max of two 2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM.
There is still no word on price and availability but I guess will be in the market before or with Vista.
