Brasilian president Lula recieves an Intel’s Classmate PC

Intel’s Classmate PC, which is meant for kids in elementary education (K-12), went into the hands of Brasil President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at a meeting held in Brasilia. He emblematically received the first Classmate PC from Intelfrom the hands of his Special Advisor Cesar Alvarez. Intel will donate 800 units slated to be delivered in April as a part of Intel’s support for the Federal Government Project ‘Um Computador por Aluno – UCA.’ These specially designed notebooks will undergo testing in two public schools in the cities of Pirai (RJ) e Palmas (TO).
