The problem of affected batteries is with 15′ Macbook. The affected Macbook pro batteries have the model number A1175 and a 12-digit serial number that ends with U7SA, U7SB and U7SC. The battery serial number is located above the barcode.



Apple claims that it is not risky to continue with the affected batteries. However, if they are giving the replacement, why miss the opportunity?
