AMD reveals its laptop platform plans for the future

The AMD has revealed their next roadmap for the future and there are many important changes that we will see in the CPU’s and processors of the future. The refreshed and upgraded PC platforms ‘Kite’ will feature Turion and Mobile Sempron processors and will see the use of hybrid graphic cards and also incorporate 802.11n standard. The ‘Hawk’ which will make debut in late 2007 will have 800 MHz DDR2 RAM. Then by 2008 will be able to have a look at the low-voltage processors in ‘Puma’ platform and ‘Griffin processors’. The hybrid graphics which will be introduced in the 2007 says AMD and just by plugging and unplugging the AC adapter the laptop will flip between the two graphic cards. The 802.11n draft will be replaced when the IEEE approved draft comes said AMD. The Puma laptop platforms will have support for the following like DirectX 10, PCI Express 2, and HyperTransport 3.0.
